I began writing for publication and speaking in churches as a high school student in Southeastern Michigan. While my opportunities to teach and speak have slowed since retiring as a full-time lead pastor in July 2022, my writing pace has quickened. My typical daily routine includes either imagining, researching, or writing the next book. I find great joy in writing.

Several of my more-recent books continue to be available at my personal online bookstore and on Amazon.com: The Crossing: Four Steps to a Better Understanding of God's Word released in March 2025, The Jesus Windows: Seeing the Light of the World Through the Windows of the Word, released at Easter 2023, and Becoming: Growing to Your Full Potential, published in 2011.

My wife Vicky and I make our home in Central Florida where we are an active part of Discovery Church in Winter Garden.
